Thomas Satyadas is completely dedicated and without any doubt, at the top of his specialisation. I was diagnosed with a pancreatic tumour after a cyst was ruled out, which elevated my anxiety beyond a comfortable level. Thomas' manner demonstrates great empathy and professionalism, which quickly focuses you on the journey ahead. You will leave any meeting fully in the picture, understanding the plan and completely at ease. I was then referred for several scans, until Thomas was completely satisfied with the presented information. If something requires an increase in pace, Thomas will make it happen. He also makes himself available on the phone when needed, which exhibits compassion and commitment to delivering outstanding levels of patient care. You are in safe hands!

I had the good fortune to be referred to Mr Satyadas through the NHS for the repair of a right inguinal hernia. His clear and concise approach at the initial consultation was reassuring, as was his detailed explanation of the procedure and its risks. He has a pleasant approach taking time to listen to any questions. During the subsequent operation he repaired a pre-existing umbilical hernia, a left inguinal hernia he had suspected and another hernia, of which I was not aware. The operation was so successful that I was able to return home that evening and I had little subsequent pain with small scars now healing well. My sincere thanks are due to Mr Satyadas and the team at the BMI Alexandra Hospital for their professional and caring treatment. Mr Satyadas is a very competent, skilled laparoscopic surgeon and I would not hesitate to recommend him.

My husband was diagnosed with rectal cancer and metastasis in his liver three and a half years ago. We were referred to Thomas Satyadas as it was decided to deal with the liver tumours before the bowel. Initially he personally intervened helping arrange an appointment at Christie Hospital as we had been waiting a very anxious six weeks. This surgeon has a very calm manner which instantly puts you at ease. Thomas has now completed three liver resection over the last three years. My husband has great respect for this man and his wonderful team. We feel extremely lucky as Thomas is a very talented, competent surgeon who takes his patients and their partners, spouses and relatives to heart keeping you informed at every stage. Receiving a phone call following these major operations is very reassuring. Personally, I never doubt that my husband is in good hands when he goes to theatre, I trust this surgeon with his skills and his expertise to keep him safe and he has never let me down. This man has a big heart, is very caring, and you are very fortunate if you happen to be referred to him.

You never want to be told that your wife has cancer, but when you are you want her to be in the care of a highly skilled surgeon like Mr Satyadas. With his compassion and approachable manner he is a role model that should be held up for others to follow. He called me personally at home following my wifes surgery to assure me that everything had gone to plan and kept the whole family fully informed of my wifes progress. What a lovely man. Graham Massey.
